Get ready to turn your oils, butters, botanicals, herbs and other pantry ingredients into clean & natural bath, body and skin care products. NO CHEMICALS REQUIRED! Learn how to melt, blend, whip and scent natural raw ingredients, get the scoop on skin care with our “tips & tricks”, gain carrier & essential oil knowledge and learn how to create your own recipes from scratch. Each workshop offers a unique experience and students learn how to create a variety of products to take home.

Early Registration is required to secure space. Registration closes 30 days before scheduled class / as seats fill.

Workshop Requirements: To reserve your spot payment in Full is required. Workshop fees are NON-REFUNDABLE as per our CANCELLATION POLICY *By purchasing a Workshop you confirm to agree to these terms. We require a minimum of 6 students before we run a class. If for some reason we have to cancel a class we will email you 48 hrs before the scheduled class, offer an alternated date or Fully Refund your purchase. *Participants must be 18 years of age to participate in our Adult Workshops. Please also read our MEDIA RELEASE POLICY

 All participants must wear closed toe shoes, long sleeves, long pants,

have their hair tied up and bring an apron to wear  to all workshops.

For Health and Safety reasons all participants are also REQUIRED to bring their own

Goggles, Rubber Gloves and a Face Mask  TO ALL SOAP MAKING WORKSHOPS

All classes are taught by zero-in on WELLNESS, NATURAL APOTHECARY shop owner Effie (Registered Holistic Practitioner, Aesthetics & Holistic Therapies Educator) and are held at the following Location: Ralph Thornton Community Centre -765 Queen St. East, Toronto, ON

*If for some reason the location needs to be changed, you will be notified 48 hrs before the scheduled workshop.

COLD & HOT PROCESS SOAP MAKING WORKSHOP DETAILS   

3 HOURS  – 8 STUDENTS MAXIMUM -REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Get ready to start soaping! Learn safe lye handling, soaping tips & tricks, gain carrier & essential oil knowledge and learn how to create your own soap recipes from scratch using cold process or hot process soaping methods. Each workshop has a designated theme designed to provide you with an opportunity to create unique soaps and experiment with different ingredients. We will be making 1-2 types of soap at each workshop. Student will be able to customize their own batch of soap to take home.

SOAP MAKING, BATH, BODY & SKIN CARE WORKSHOPS

In our hands-on class Workshops, students learn how to make their very our natural bath, body and skin care products, using natural & organic ingredients. Participants take home the products that they make. All products that are made in our workshops are labeled and packaged for home use or gift giving and come with general use and storage instructions.  Workshops are designed to give you the confidence & knowledge to make products for yourself, friends and family without the use GMOs and chemicals. A Workshop Workbook with information that you need to get started is included with all workshops. Topics include: DIY Recipes, Create Your Own Recipes from Scratch, Ingredient Profiles, Resources and Canadian Suppliers.

 

Each Class runs approximately 2 – 3 hours  

No Previous Experience Needed
